Better Late Than Never

Better Late Than Never has a strong voice that -  through largely traditional songs - is a clear musical expression of the man himself. McElroy backs his own singing with guitar and bouzouki throughout, with a few unaccompanied songs that really focus listeners on his singing and words.

Gerry O’Connor (fiddle) and Kieran O’Hare (uilleann pipes) lend their own playing, capping off an album that is spirited, beautiful and engaging.
