Mark and Dan met at The Festival of American Fiddle Tunes many years ago. During their first session together they both happened to go into the reel "The Cottage in the Glen" simultaneously with nary a wink or a nod. That was surely a sign of the simpatico music vibes that flowed between them. They have since followed up with many gigs, culminating with Dan accompanying Mark on his flute CD "The Gloup". They play many instruments and styles of music, their favourites being: Irish, Old-time and French-Canadian on the fiddle, flute, guitar, melodeon, banjo and bouzouki.
